The Daily Mail has been forced into an embarrassing climbdown after it admitted that an article published in the newspaper today might have inadvertently contained facts which were true.
In the article, the newspaper reported that the Prime Minister holds deplorable attitudes towards the poor, a fact which it now accepts is probably accurate. The article also stated that David Cameron was a member of the Conservative Party, which after further investigation, the paper now admits was not at all made up.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the newspaper said:
We can assure our readers that we aim to keep to the highest standards expected of British journalism and that’s why we strive to publish only articles which contain biased, bigoted opinion and are completely devoid of facts. We are holding an internal investigation to ascertain how such obviously unbiased truth could have made its way into our newspaper.
Several of the newspaper’s more elderly readers were reported to be in shock after discovering unadulterated reality amongst their usual fare of half-truths, lies and bigoted crap. In an editorial, the newspaper apologised to its readers for exposing them to the truth and promised it would not allow such an oversight to happen again.

Seriously, though, how the hell did that article end up in the Mail? A sop to someone’s conscience, or have the coalition gone too far for even Paul Dacre to applaud unconditionally any more? (Nah, it couldn’t possibly be the latter. Silly me.)

It surprised me too. But I think you’re right Jim – the DM has always hated Cameron – not right-wing enough for them, believe it or not.

The right wing press are spreading lies and it is breaking my heart – i am seeing on of my children fighting for their life daily………….we are human beings……..the cap doffing era belongs in the 18/19 and early 20th century……………i am so very afraid…….for my family…….regards A SINGLE PARENT SCUM NO-BODY OF THE UNITED KINGDOM.

you know what janann?
you speak for the majority of people in this once beloved country of ours.
i personally know many people who are fit and healthy and they are disgusted with what the ponces in power are doing to the genuinly disabled people in this country.
it does not surprise me to hear that “call me dave” has over 40 million in off shore accounts. and thats why is also does not surprise me that he is not hitting the wealthy as hard as he is hitting the poorer members of society.
and even with all that cash, he still claimed DLA for his child.
built in double standards would seem to be the order of the day, but only for the well off.
as a footnote, i wont be voting tory in ANY future elections, and until they get rid of that weasle miliband i wont be voting labour either,, and as for the cleggie party, not a flaming chance,,, which leaves minority parties,,, time for a bit of research methinks!

Yes, it is bad and seems to be an orchestrated push by the nasty Right to abolish any concept of society. 😦

i dont know much about left and right, who is which, and or why they are there, all i know is, electioneering consists of making promises to win votes, which are then immediatly dropped once in office for the alternative policies with alterior motives.
it stands to reason, that anyone who has the vote is going to vote for the party that does the best for the voter. i voted tory because cameron said in his election promises that he would look after the genuine disabled voters. i am not proud of voying tory, not now, not ever, but no other party made any other promises about disabled people.
i have allways voted labour up to this last vote. but with miliband at the helm its a party doomed to sink into the abyss left behind by the tory party.
i do know this,, the tory party are lying cretins, and the labour party are cretinous liars. in popular circles, that just leaves the liberals, and we all know what they are all about, i mean, we can see the strings held by “just call me dave” and they have “glove like rectums” so whichever way you look at it, they are being worked by someone, somewhere.
an orchestrated push is not far from what appears to be happening. however, its designed i think to create 3 societies. there will be the gutter fodder, of which i am likely to be a member. then there is the middle group. they will be there to make sure we do what we are told. then there will be the third group, who will be telling the middle group what to make us lower group do. and all the while, “dave” and “georgie” and friends will be sunning themselves on their desert island with everything that our and their money will buy them. they will be waited on hand and foot my that ugly cow “may” and her usual string of “cheap beads” around her neck. between them, they will procreate unfettered until they have created the next generation government with which to hoodwink us then beat us into submission.
okay, so not all of that is true, but i am fed up to the back teeth with this shower of shite, and i dont have any back teeth!
question is,,, is it wrong of me to wish poverty on those bastards?
guess the jury is still out on that one.

I agree with janann. This country has so become a despicable place to be. As an unemployed single parent with 30 years worth of work behind me I find peoples attitudes so callous.
I am sick of having to justify why I am unemployed, why I don’t have a job, why I can afford broadband and why the taxpayer should fund me.
I am trying to save to send my son abroad as when he leaves school I want to know he will be far from the sh*thole this country has become.
Unfortunately I don’t have the optimistic view that the Tories will be kicked out at the next election, Labour are shot, Libdems, or Ukip will form another coalition with the Robber tories and it will get much much worse.
This country has been raped for the last 30 years by both Labour and the Tories and there is no place left to go except further down.

I agree with all you say Steve, until you come to not voting, if you don’t vote the Tories might get in again, you will never get a party together that suits all so vote for the nearest to your ideals…Tony Benn is still in the Labour Party and according to some poles he is at the moment the most popular politician. Just one other point if I may, you will never see or find the Labour Party denigrating the population as does this coalition .

If we can’t can’t trust our own government to support us, who can we trust, David cameron it blaming us, the genuine sick and disabled for the very sad loss of his DISABLED CHILD.
