OK – I’ve got it now.

When the chancellor said his was a budget for growth, he wasn’t talking about the economy.

Credit where credit’s due – Osborne said he was going for growth and sure enough – unemployment, VAT, poverty, inflation even tuition fees are all growing.

And now executive pay is too.

And so is crime.

Well done Chancellor.

For a moment there you had us all thinking you didn’t have a bloody clue what you were doing.
