Statement in relation to Jeremy Clarkson
Here is North Yorkshire Police’s statement in relation to an alleged incident in North Yorkshire involving Jeremy Clarkson:
“North Yorkshire Police is liaising with the BBC regarding the alleged incident in North Yorkshire involving Jeremy Clarkson.
“We have asked the BBC for the report which details the findings of their internal investigation into the matter.
“The information will be assessed appropriately and action will be taken by North Yorkshire Police where necessary.
“It would not be appropriate for North Yorkshire Police to comment further at this time.”
25 March 2015
.
It seems somebody has started to remember that punching someone in the face is still against the law in the UK.
Even for wealthy celebrities.

I think credit needs to be given to the BBC here – in face of the massive pressure of the petition and the general sense from the public that, “well it’s OK really – just a bit of a lad” the BBC seems to have acted with integrity and decided to do the right thing even thought in many ways this will not be the best for them not least in monetary terms.
We will see what the other presenters on Top Gear decide to do and see if the program ports to another channel who decide that “Clarkers” is ok really.

yea but NYP have their own CSA cover up to divert people from. They knew about Saville before he died they were alerted by Canadian authorities years ago then there was another Jeremy who came to their notice along with Cyril Smith along with Tory grandee Peter Jaconelli all chums together when Liberals held conferences at Scarborough where Saville had den. So beware of slight of hand. Not that squeaky clean.

Tom Pride gives us here North Yorkshire Police’s official statement that they are investigate Jezza. It’s now on MSN News that Clarkson is facing prosecution by the police. I wonder if years from now we’ll be looking back at his behaviour and thinking ‘It was only a matter of time..’

While I wouldn’t consider myself a celebrity — ‘infamous’ rather than ‘famous’ — I would probably like to punch Clarkson in the face.

North Yorkshire Police CID officers are currently compiling a Dossier on how many people Jeremy ‘Do You Want To Feel My Fist?’ Clarkson has punched, to date: —-*His wife Frances, leading to her divorcing him; *Piers Morgan, because they can’t stand each other; *Pope Francis, because The Holy Father is a Catholic; *a supermarket Father Christmas on Christmas Eve, because of the stressfulness of Christmas shopping; *Oisin Tymon, because of the stressfulness of making Top Gear; *a Daily Mail correspondent, because he linked Clarkson’s name to Jimmy Savile’s, thinking that both being born in North Yorkshire was fair game; *Richard Hammond, because he balked at sharing his small dish of sunflower seeds when Clarkson was hungry; ****** [Please phone North Yorkshire Police CID if you have further information of other Clarkson punch-up assaults, or batterings, or beatings]
